Day 4: Cricket
Today was the day of semi finals in SPARDHA '10 .In cricket also, there were amazing semi finals.The first one was between IT BHU and BSACET. In this match BSACET won the toss and elected to bowl. ITians made a score of 99 runs against the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In return BSACET team also made a good start. However the bowlers of IT BHU didn't allow them to reach the target the BSACET team was all out at a score of 85 runs. RAHUL SENGAR was the man of the match.
The second semi final was between SSCET and BSAITM in which SSCET created a score of 73 runs in 18 overs. In return BSAITM easily achieved the target and won the match by 2 wickets.

Day 4: Chess ---> Gold for IT
Chess has brought glory to IT-BHU winning gold medals in both men's and women's tournament. The captain of the Chess team said " I was quite sure of winning from the very first day. The team of ours was very good and am quite happy to win." He said that the team will carry in this performance in other sports fest as well. The team of BIT Durg won gold in the Blitz round.
So three cheers for IT Chess team...
Day 4: Hockey
The team with injuries, yes the combination today was not up to the marks and it cost a match to IT-BHU.After a close defeat yesteday team M.E.R.I. came up with practice and new strategies and played really well. IT lost the match by 2-0. The IT captain was not at all happy and aid that the team's performance was below par today and so the team had a very long and tough pratice session ensuring that IT not gonna lose the grand finale of the game. There were a number of faults oour defence and they took them as golden opportunities to convert them into goals.The team thinktank of IT will comethrough these errors and will show some real game tomorrow.The opponents were not lagging behind in rough gaming and almost hurt Manish(14),Aditya,Prabhjot and Rahul. But the man from Jharkhand, Rahul was not behind in showing aggressions.

Day 4: Foot Ball Semi Finals ----> IT Lost
It was the fourth day of Spardha 2010.
The day of the semis! The warriors were in a do or die situation. One win could raise the team to glory.
The other team will perish. The situation had its own crunched thrill.
The first match was a sort of a gamble with repeated attacks from both sides. The game was forced to go into a penalty shoot out.
However, it was finally BIT Durg surviving the crush making merry at the end of the day.
Finally it was a gloom day for IT-JUNTA with IT facing a crushing defeat in the hands of SSCET, hence,getting scrapped of the final.
The IT team could not play to the expectations.
Well IT team is out of the tournament but all football fans must reach the football ground to witness the finals of this mega event.We are expecting the highest level of football from the two best teams of the tournament.
